Dr Mish Glauser is a Pōneke-born physician with ancestral roots in Samoa and Switzerland. Her kāinga/ home is the ngāhere/ forest of Titirangi. She completed her MBCHB in 2014 at the University of Auckland, and has trained across all four DHBs of Tāmaki Makaurau, ranging in specialties from cardiology to psychogeriatrics. After her study and having practised for 2 years, she spent 6 months practising yoga and meditation in India and Nepal. She has worked across rural Aotearoa as a locum, and has 4 years of experience in emergency medicine. Healing requires relationship building, continuity of care and seeing people as a whole; all of which has drawn her to an integrative general practice space. She has been eating a plant-based diet for 6 years, practises yoga, vipassana, and metta meditation. Outside of work, she is a very active member of the Titirangi pottery club.
